As opposed to making a minor edit for each individual ability, I've decided to just do this instead.
Modified psychic array designed specifically for combat. Offensive abilities boosted, as well as allowing more precise manipulations of energy to be used for defensive purposes. Precognition and other perceptions limited to short ranged, and can be more precisely tuned to focus on one or a group of opponents. Oh, and it also makes you insane, but it's certainly a better alternative to having your mind implode (potentially hazardous sensing abilities are projected around you instead, so you involuntarily give limited telepathy to others).
Who says you can't learn anything from watching tv, playing video games, and browsing the internet? I don't think they're teaching pseudoscience in schools, they can barely scrape together teachers competent in "real" science...
Ha! Point made my friend. Well I should love to have a greater understanding of all this to your extent, it's very interesting and could be very helpful when I develop a series for manga/anime in the future.
I'm not actually sure. The concept is to maximize the potential of the mind to perform various observable material phenomena, and then specifically focus upon the practical aspects of combative abilities. I suppose I might have unconsciously thought of the role of psychokinesis as it's used in the X-Men franchise, since it seems to be a substitute for most magical/impossible happenings and explaining it away as being the product of the power of the mind.
